I was skeptical about using Amazon Prime Wardrobe. I would much rather shop in person but who has time for that these days? A friend told me about the try before you buy experience available through Amazon Prime Wardrobe so I gave it a shot! Below is all you need to know about Prime Wardrobe.
What To Know About Amazon Prime Wardrobe
- You can select up to 8 items in your Prime Wardrobe cart via Amazon Prime. However, there is a $300.00 limit so if you exceed that amount with the items in your cart, you will need to save them for later. In other words, Prime Wardrobe will only send you $300.00 dollars worth of merchandise at a time.
- The items will be shipped directly to your door and you will not be charged during the 7 day try on period.
- The try on period ends 7 days from the day the last shipment of your order arrives. Sound confusing? I promise it’s not! In my case, I ordered two items. One came right away and the other took 3 weeks to arrive! As long as I returned both items 7 days after the last item arrived, I would not be charged.
Lastly…
- In my case, I decided to keep the For Love & Lemon’s Maxi and return the second item. Make sure to go online to the “Orders” section of your account to mark the items you wish to keep and return by the 7th day.
- What if you forget to go online and mark the items? No worries. Once Amazon receives your return (post-marked within the 7 day try on period) you will be refunded.
Would I use Amazon Prime Wardrobe again? Yes! However, only if I had the time to return the items within 7 days that particular week. I get a little nervous having to remember to return the items—we creatives tend to be on the forgetful side!
Finally, Prime Wardrobe makes it easy to return, you can even drop the items off at your local Whole Food’s Market. Find more on Amazon Prime Wardrobe brands and fashion looks on my Instagram page.
